Activities in the Parish Centre

If you would like to hire the Parish Centre, please contact Dan Reilly on (07788) 860 764 to discuss your requirement, to arrange an opportunity to see our amazing facilities and to obtain a no-obligation quote.

The Centre was built in 1974 and comprises three rooms:
1. The main hall,
2. The bar area and small hall,
3. A self-contained room accessible from the foyer.
All can be hired, together or independently.

Hiring the Centre gives automatic access to the toilets and foyer. Hire fees include heat, light, and elementary cleaning.

We do not charge rent for using the Centre if the event is associated with a baptism, wedding, or funeral in the Church. This offer presupposes that you use the bar.

We ask that you leave the Centre as you find it, so tied and clean. And please take your own rubbish — it helps minimise or costs.

The Centre has been extensively renovated and reimagined since about 2010, with new foyer, toilets, floor, lights, projector and screen, sound system, and doors. We aim to replace the kitchen and bar in 2023.

The current age range is from 92 to 10 years old, including wheel-chair users.

Activities include water-colour painting, sketching, card-making, rug-making, tapestry work, knitting and picture-framing. There are varied stages of skill and experience, and a lot of mutual help and advice, all in a relaxed atmosphere and comfortable surroundings. Or just drop in for coffee, cake, and a chat.
