Service for All Souls’ Day
A service of music and prayer, focussing on those we wish to remember our loved ones who have died. The service is always held on the nearest Sunday to 2 November. This year, we celebrate on Sunday 30 October.
It is a time for Christians, including those who attend these special All Souls’ Day services, to remember and pray for deceased family members and friends.
During the service we read aloud the names of all those:
- Who have influenced us.
- Those who names are listed in our Book of Remembrance.
- Those whose funerals have occurred in our Church during the past three years.
- Those whose funerals have been led by our Vicar during the past three years.
